People of Progress is founded on the philosophy of intention.

Our brand has been birthed out of a desire to see creativity move from being one that is self-focused but rather invites collaboration and consciousness.

From day one, we’ve sought transparency in our supply chain, not only to understand its environmental impact, but to honour the hands and stories behind the garments. We are a husband and wife team, working out of our living room in Sydney, Australia, to bring to you a small collection of heirloom pieces - each one hand-dyed, woven, and sewn with care and intention.  

We’re proud to be partnered with a natural dye house in Southern India, where colour isn’t just manufactured  — it’s alive. Each hue emerges from the rhythms of the local bioregion, harnessed  by tradition and guided by the land itself.

To anchor our work, we’ve articulated our set of living fundamentals - a  true north  to lead us and return to as this  journey continues to unfold.
